4 Reasons Why Your Business Needs to have a Website.

With everything moving digital, it has certainly leveled the playfield for all the businesses. It is not difficult for an x-y-z cosmetic brand to show up next to a multi-millionaire dollar cosmetic company on the internet provided that the x-y-z brand plays the cards right. This is possible due to digital marketing that goes a lot deeper into SEO, SMM, SEM, Inbound Marketing, etc.

But it all starts with getting your brand a website. No matter what the size of your firm is, or what profession your business caters to, having a website will help you build credibility and goodwill with your customers. It will help your business send across strong marketing messages irrespective of the size of your firm.

Here are 4 solid reasons that clearly state why your business must have a website.

#1- Prime Real Estate Property

A website is the real estate of the digital marketing world. If a showroom has a physical address then a website is a digital showroom with a web address. A place where visitors are walk-in customers and there is a lot of potential to convert these visitors into leads which later become customers in a systematic manner. A website is a much cheaper way of holding a prime property that is open to whoever has access to the internet.

In 2020, anything can be sold online. Starting from Books, Clothes, Jewellery, Cars, and even Real Estate. This is now possible by using Images, Videos, and Virtual Reality on a website. I have shared tips on things to keep in mind when building an effective website at the end.

#2- Company’s Brand Image

You decide what you want your brand to be known for. You are in complete control to place your brand on the shelves as you like it. For example: If you are a brand that deals in High-end Clothing for Men, here is how you can start building your presence on the Internet(For your Website)

A. Publish Content about styling for Men Styling on your website.

B. Use the right words to define your brand.

C. Build a high-quality website and complement it by using professional photographs of your products.

Minute details like the Font you use on your website, usage of words, and the quality of photographs & videos you use to capture your brand will have an impact on how the customers perceive your brand. Put out a strong message.

Your website is the first impression that your customers are going to have of your brand. Quality of your products and services may be judged after and if they place an order for the same through your website. So pay close attention to the details.

#3- Business Growth

Do you think you are ready and have the resources required to cater to a larger audience? Get your brand out there. Support your website with marketing tools like Shopify, Woocommerce, etc. You will have to invest in these marketing tools to get positive returns.

With the right guidance and strategy, you can bootstrap your marketing budget with the profits you make by selling your products online. Reinvest this money to grow your brand further. This obviously requires a lot of planning and strategy but is definitely a good way of growing your brand.

Set your Business Goals and then decide how digital marketing is going to help you achieve these goals. Set goals that are Specific, Measureable, Attainable, Relevant, and Time-Based. Then set aside a budget for marketing tools that will help you achieve these business goals. I will be writing more about this topic on this blog. #4- 24×7 Customer Service

By having an e-commerce website, you’ve automated your sales process. This is not only a huge cost & time saver but also a huge customer service point. A 24×7 sales counter will facilitate sales even when you’re not physically available to handle your store sales.

Your customers can now purchase at their own convenience. An example here would be Amazon. They can now make a transaction within minutes while commuting to work, eating their breakfast, sipping through their coffee, etc. And this in turn means that you are making money even as you sleep.

Enabling Chatbots on your Website to automate the Customer Service to a great extent will reduce your sales cost and provide instant replies to customer queries too. In my opinion, this is the next big thing and you’re going to find chatbots on all the websites you visit that will help you checkout with what you need.

The cost of acquiring a customer through this process is reduced and improves customer service efficiency by speed replies.

Some of the listed ones are Hostinger, Hostgator, BlueHost, GoDaddy, etc. They all have their plans and perks. See what suits your business and pockets the best. 3. Right Developer Platform

WordPress, Wix, Shopify are some developer platforms that you can use. Each of them has its own perks and cons. An important point to be noted here is that when you’re renting a hosting service, make sure the developer you desire is installable on the same.

4. Optimized for Mobile Phones

87% of traffic for my website (Source: Google Analytics) is surfing the website on a mobile device. It is important that you optimize your website for phones that create a great user experience which in turn will reflect on your Google Rankings, Brand Image, Sales, etc
